The John William Jackson Fund supported The Cabin's youth outreach program by sponsoring the visits of Chris Abani to the Frank Church High School and Ada County Juvenile Detention Center. Chris is an award winning writer. The grant award was in memory of Velma V. Morrison.

Chris Abani, an articulate speaker, spoke to an enthusiastic group of Frank Church High School students in Boise.
