The Fund recognizes and congratulates Noah Jessee, another rising star, who played with the Meridian Symphony Orchestra T(MSO) conducted by Jim Ogle.  The concert was the Orchestra’s final 2012 – 2013 concert featuring the Young Artist Series

Noah, age 14, is the Junior Division winner of the 2013 MSO Young Artist Competition.  He performed Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-Flat Major, Movement 111 – Rondo, Molto Allegro.  He attends the Fresco Arts Academy in Eagle, Idaho.

Jacqueline, a junior at Boise High School, has numerous musical honors and  performed with other local orchestras and the Symphony of Toys at the Meyerson Center in Dallas, Texas.  She performed Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major, Movement 1 – Allegro Moderato.

File Note:  V. A. Medical Center was a 2011 iYERP environmental stewardship award recipient at the same level,  Doug keeps us posted on upcoming projects.  He and his staff have done an excellent job of overseeing all new construction and tenant improvement projects at the medical center.

Tony Engleman, owner, accepted the award at the Meridian Town Center Project.  Tony and his hard working crew are very busy at the Meridian Town Center Project.

File Note:  Engleman Steel Erection, a first time iYERP environmental stewardship award recipient, is a local steel erection contractor.  They are located in Boise and their phone number is 385-9358.

At its 10th Annual Awards Celebration in Boise, the John William Jackson Fund (JWJF) awarded St. Mary’s Parish School $4900 for student scholarships for deserving minority students.

Marianne White, Principal, accepted the grant award on behalf of the school.

Note:  The JWJF awarded $120,000 for programs and projects benefiting Idaho youth.  This grant was made in memory of John Borbonus and Eugene Thomas.  John lost his life during combat in Iraq and Eugene started the law firm, Moffatt Thomas, now Moffatt Thomas Barrett Rock & Fields.       

 

: At its 10th Annual Awards Celebration in Boise, the John William Jackson Fund (JWJF) awarded grants to two soccer clubs: Boise Nationals Soccer Club and FC Nova Soccer Club in the amounts of $3000 and $2000 respectively.

Accepting their awards were Mary Saras, Boise Nationals Soccer Club and Brad Mauzerall, FC Nova Soccer Club along with Penny and Lyle Elsberry, the parents of Craig Elsberry.

The BNSC award was made in memory of Craig Elsberry and the FCNSC in memory of John Jackson.  Craig and John played soccer together for many years
